New Paper on Koala APPs

Congrats to our collaborators Drs. Thurber and Singleton for the recent publication of their study entitled, “Reference intervals for acute phase proteins for koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus) at the San Diego Zoo”. Samples from this vulnerable species were used to validate assays for CRP, SAA, and haptoglobin and updated intervals were also calculated for protein electrophoresis.

It is a great time saver and ensures accurate information. This option joins the other great functions you can access via the Client Portal on our website including searching for results, obtaining PDF copies of results, ordering supplies, reviewing billing information, and updating your information including email addresses. New Paper on Hemolysis in Turtle Samples in PLoS ONE

Congratulations to our collaborators including Dr. Nicole Stacy in the publication of “Plasma chemistry in nesting leatherback sea turtles (Dermochelys coriacea) from Florida: Understanding the importance of sample hemolysis on blood analytes” published in September 2019 in PLoS ONE. This important paper tackles the bigger issue of ensuring proper data interpretation for samples from turtles in research studies or undergoing rehabilitation.
